Cuban Delegation Visits Rostechnadzor

26.02.2018 On 26 February 2018, Alexander Rybas, State Secretary - Deputy Chairman of Rostechnadzor, had a meeting with Danilo Alonso Mederos, Vice Minister of Science, Technology and Environment of the Republic of Cuba, at Rostechnadzor headquarters.

The parties shared information on the regulatory systems for nuclear and radiation safety in Russia and Cuba, and discussed prospective development of interagency cooperation.

The parties agreed to jointly work out the issue of preparation for signing a memorandum of understanding between the regulatory authorities of Russia and Cuba.

The meeting was a part of the Cuban delegations’ visit to Russia to participate in the session of the Joint Coordination Committee established under the Russian-Cuban intergovernmental agreement of cooperation in the field of atomic energy, which was signed on 27 September 2016 in Vienna.
