Paraguay’s Delegation Visits Rostechnadzor

On April 27, 2017, Rostechnadzor Deputy Chairman Alexander Trembitsky had a meeting with César José Cardozo Román, Executive-Secretary Minister of the Radiologic and Nuclear Regulatory Agency (ARRN).

The Paraguayan received general information on the activities of Rostechnadzor associated with nuclear safety regulation and specifically on the Russian approaches to safety regulation when managing radioactive sources.

Concluding the meeting, the parties noted their mutual interest in establishing and further development of interagency cooperation and agreed to elaborate the issue of preparing for signing an agreement on cooperation between the nuclear and radiation safety regulators of Russia and Paraguay.
